Talley Flora, our CEO, has nearly two decades of experience helping businesses improve the way they hire. A graduate of Iowa State University, she started Red Seat in 1999 after she hit on the idea while working at a small human resources firm—hiring assistance was something her clients asked for again and again. Since then, Talley has dedicated her business to helping people find the best employees as quickly, efficiently, and affordably as possible. When she's not working, Talley is active in Rotary and loves whipping up high-calorie desserts in the kitchen, fighting off weeds in the garden, and spending time with her husband and her son.

Carol Marsyla has been a human resources manager and consultant for more than 10 years. She has extensive experience sourcing and hiring employees at every level of the organization in a wide variety of industries. Carol has a BA with concentration in human resources management and multi-cultural studies from Metropolitan State University and holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification. Carol’s interests include reading, writing and conversing about the deeper meaning of life, cheering at her daughters’ sporting events, and relaxing with family.

Karen Axtell is a graduate from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management. She holds a summa cum laude Master’s degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations. Karen also has a summa cum laude BA degree from the University of St. Thomas. Her HR consulting and recruiting experience includes work with a range of businesses from large and international to privately owned companies across multiple industries. Karen’s interests include playing hockey, attending music concerts, and mentoring college students; and if you look on the internet, you may find a great picture of her flying by on an ATV
